One of the most relaxing games in the App Store is Zen Bound and it just got better. It has just been updated to verion 2.2.1 which includes the following things:
The thing you probably care about most is the new “Tree of Nostalgia” that includes 25 new puzzles.
Zen Bound has also been reduced to $2.99. So nows a time to get it if you’ve been thinking for a while.

So basically this app is meant to amaze you. If you tilt around the center of the screen, it will give off a 3D holographic effect. You can also see the effect if you look straight down the screen of your device.
Another cool thing of this app is that it changes color. It will start blue and then slowly change to green and purple.
Overall Ballerina is an excellent app to entertain people and very pleasing to your eye. It’s currently $0.99.
This video demonstrates it well:

Sometimes when your down, a quick puzzle is all you need. Blocked by Joel Rosenberg is exactly what you need. If you’ve ever played Rush Hour, this is exactly like that except without the cars. Instead this game uses blocks. Not only is this game perfect for short periods of time, this game can also keep you occupied for large amounts of time with its 100 levels of touch and drag action.
If you have no idea how to play Blocked, don’t worry as anybody can learn how to play this game even without instructions. The gameplay is really simple, all you have to do is move the gray blocks out of the way so the blue block has a path out. Although this might sound very simple, don’t be fooled. The levels start out very easy but gradually increase in difficulty. Blocked has five levels of difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, Harder, and Hardest.
The only negative of this game is that there are absolutely no music and sound effects. I guess you could just listen to your own music, but we all have to agree sound effects and music would be nice. Other than that, there isn’t really any other complaint from me.
In the end Blocked is a solid game that will keep your brain thinking and you hooked. At some times you can’t even quit the game because your too engaged in the game. This game is just $0.99 and literally does not take any room on your iPod or iPhone. I’m not forcing you to buy this game, but this simple game is just a gem that sticks out of the 30,000+ games on the App Store.

BlackJack Run is a quick-fire blackjack style game from Seahorse Software http://www.seahorsesoft.com The premise behind the game is to make as many blackjack hands as possible. You are given cards one at a time, and cannot see beyond that card.
Games consist of multiple rounds (you can choose to play 3 or unlimited rounds) each round you have to make at least 95 points to advance to the next round. Points are scored by the value each card holds, the closer you are to 21 in each row the better, (for more points and bonus points) Bonus points are scored by having a 2 card blackjack (+100 for each), a 3+ hand of 21 (+50 for each), all row 21 (+200 points) and time left (10x each second).
The great thing about this game is the amount of different options you have to customize you game experience. For example, you can change the background, amount of rounds, how many starting cards you have, wether or not to display the total on the side, and seconds per round.
Each of these settings can be changed to customize to a certain level, the level only determines which settings you are playing at. For example playing at level 13 is the same as playing at level one except you play for unlimited rounds instead of 3.
Another nice thing about this game is how quickly it is to pick up and put down, the perfect balance for a mobile game. Each round takes a max of 30 seconds and you can always hit the home key and the game will be saved for you to play once you’re ready.
Of course you can upload your score to the global highscore list, or keep your own local high scores.
A few disappointing things about this game is I have encountered two crashes, however they were not during gameplay.
Another strange thing is when you have multiple cards turned down, the total of the cards will be shown before you start the game. While this does not affect gameplay too much, it is a strange design choice, because the player will know that they need lower or higher cards (depending if the total before the cards are flipped are high or low). I suspect that this is a bug and will be fixed in an update.
Otherwise, this is a very addicting, well thought-out game that deserves more attention.
++ Fun gameplay that doesn’t get old
== Meh graphics
— Few crashes (didn’t affect gameplay)

Antair Corporation has just recently released a new Easter themed Sneezies game. Just like the original Sneezies it has the same gameplay. But in this game it now has new graphics all at a low price, $0.99. Since this game is basically the same as the first Sneezies, I won’t be providing a review for this. Instead just read our original Sneezies review for details about it->
If you want to be in the Easter spirit, I definitely recommend the Easter Sneezies Edition. You’ll get more levels to play and more cuteness taking you over. Really consider this to be your next app purchase.

UPDATE: Congrats Donburns99 for winning Bugz! I’ll email you the code as soon as possible. I picked a name out of a hat in case you wondered how I came up with the winner
I know a lot of people out there hate bugs, but this game about bugs is not a game you should hate. Bugz has very similar gameplay to another game, Sneezies. Your main and only objective is to pop as many “Bugz” as possible by starting a chain reaction of bugz popping. To acheive this, simply tap the screen to make a pop that will expand and shrink again. If your pop hits another bug it will pop it and start a chain reaction effect.
Beware, this game is very addicting. I know I’ve said a lot of games are addicting, but this game goes beyond addicting. In every level you have to pop a number of Bugz before you can move on to the next level. Don’t worry if you think you have a number of lives to deal with, as there are no lives in this game. If you can’t reach the goal you can always try the level again to see if you can pass it. Play through a whopping 102 levels in Bugz.
In Bugz you have to set up a profile first. Don’t worry as there is no hassle in setting this up, all you have to do is enter your name. With this profile you’ll be able save and load your current state quickly. In this proflie you can also view your own stats and an online high score table from throughout the world.
As you progress through this game, you’ll face more obstacles. There is a special colored bug that you need to pop in order to move on to the next level. A flower will hinder the bugz by moving in erratic patterns. If they get too close to the bugz, they will stop and eat them.
Another thing I have to give Bugz credit to is the great soundtrack. The soundtrack suits the gameplay almost as if they were meant to be together. But if you don’t like it, you can always use your own hip music.
Overall this is a game that is as addicting as crack from Didev Studios. You’ll be popping bugs for hours and trying to set new high scores to compete with the rest of the world. This game is only $0.99 right now so you should pick this up immediately. You’ll definitely not turn back and think this game was a bad purchase.
