Distant Shore Review

One of my favorite messaging apps for iPhone. Period. Distant Shore is an app developed by the same people who made Koi Pond, The Blimp Pilots. So if you decide to dowload this app and open it, you will find yourself at a bungalow. If you get any messages they will be by the turtle. Walk over to the turtle to pick up the message.
So the main thing you do in Distant Shore is to find shells over the beach to get bottles to send messages. Once you find 5 shells you get a bottle added to your inventory. You can only have 8 bottles in your inventory at a time, same thing with messages. You can also find messages in bottles over the beach. I warn you about the messages you can get, some can be weird and plain dumb.
The graphics and sound in Distant Shore is excellent. The graphics are very sharp and the sounds are very relaxing and makes it seems that your actually on a beach. You can hear things like the waves swishing or your footprints crunching through the sand.
Overall Distant Shore is a very fun way of communicating to people all over the world. You’ll have plenty of funny conversations with a lot of people. Great job The Blimp Pilots if your reading this! I give this app 4.5 stars out of 5. Here is a thread on Toucharcade that talks about funny Distant Shore conversations: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=4696
